Job Description: Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following purely on temporary and contractual basis at ICAR-National Institute on Foot and Mouth Disease (ICAR-NIFMD), Arugul, Bhubaneswar–
752050, Odisha, and ICMR-National Institute of Virology (ICMR-NIV), Pune for the ICMR funded research project “A dynamic hybridoma platform for animal and human infectious diseases with pandemic potential”. The positions are for a period of one year but extendable up to three years and coterminous with the project completion (whatever is earlier). Additional Information

QUALIFICATION –

• MBBS / BVSc
• Desirable: Experience in mammalian Cell culture work, hybridoma work, animal inoculations, virus handling ELISA, molecular biology/diagnosis and nucleotide sequencing

Job Location : ICAR-NIFMD, Arugul, Bhubaneswar ((but involves frequent travel between NIFMD, Bhubaneswar & NIV Pune)

Nature of job: Contractual

Salary (₹) Rs 67000/- + HRA, as admissible

Age Preferences (in Years):Maximum age 35 years( (as on the closing date of application)

1. Original documents of the selected candidates will be verified before joining again.
2. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
3. The Director, ICAR-NIFMD, reserves the right to fill up or not to fill any of the vacancies notified in this advertisement.
4. The appointment would be on full time basis and he/she would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of engagement.
5. Notwithstanding the duration of engagement, the Director of the Institute can terminate the services of such staff at any time without assigning any reason by issuing one month’s notice.
6. At the end of the assignment such staff will not have any right to claim any employment or engagement.
7. The assignment will not bestow upon them any claim for regular employment at ICARNIFMD or any other ICAR/ICMR Institutes.
